Dr. Natalie Farah, pT, dPT
Owner & Co-Founder
Natalie has dedicated her Physical Therapy career to the treatment and injury prevention of dancers and performing artists. Growing up as a dancer and musician, she has a deep love and appreciation for the arts that she is so grateful to combine with her fascination with physiology and caring for others. Throughout her 10 years of practice, Natalie has experienced treating dancers in countless Broadway productions, national tours, ballet companies, and immersive theater productions including Moulin Rouge, West Side Story, The Lion King, Sleep No More, Hip Hop Nutcracker, and American Ballet Theatre’s Studio Company. Her specialties lie in dry needling, manual therapy and neuromuscular re-education to improve the body’s efficiency in movement.
In recent years, Natalie founded her own practice, where she provides concierge PT services to clients in the NY/NJ area. Her experience of running her own company plus working with multiple businesses that cater to the performing arts industry provides her with a unique perspective on creating Ghost Light Wellness with her fellow co-founders.
Dr. Maeve Talbot, PT, DPT
Owner & Co-Founder
Maeve has been involved in the performing arts world since a very young age. Trained as a dancer as an adolescent through post undergraduate, she has a deep desire for the performing arts and their unique needs. She has conducted research and presented international conferences regarding the care for performing artists. She has served as on-site physical therapists for the Joffery Ballet, Steppenwolf Theater, Tootsie, and the 1st National Tour of Mean Girls. She is certified in dry needling, treatment of performing arts through PAMA (Performing Arts Medicine Association) and has trained extensively in techniques to provide the most effective and up-to date treatment strategies including taping, joint mobilization, blood flow restriction, injury prevention programming. She is also a certified strength and conditioning coach.
Not only is Maeve dedicated to providing the best treatment to her patients, she is committed to working with all those involved in the production team to strive for the best outcomes. Skilled at translating complex physical therapy needs into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders—including directors, managers, actors, and crew —to ensure aligned goals, effective care delivery, and optimal patient outcomes.
Dr. Rachel Red, PT, DPT
Owner & Co-Founder
Rachel is a professionally-trained dancer turned board-certified physical therapist. She knows first-hand the demands of life on tour and the toll performance can take on the body. With 15+ years of clinical experience across orthopedic sports medicine, performing arts management, and pelvic health, she brings deep expertise and personal passion to every backstage call. She has had the privilege of working with some of the most iconic shows on stage, including Hamilton, Six the Musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Wicked providing on-site care for touring and resident productions, helping performers stay strong, mobile, and show-ready—eight times a week (plus double show days!). Rachel holds a post-doctoral fellowship in orthopedic and manual physical therapy and is certified in integrative behavioral health. Her approach blends hands-on manual therapy, movement optimization, and holistic strategies to support both body and mind—because she believes treating the whole performer matters.
Utilizing the marketing strategies she has implemented with her own concierge business, Rachel strives to bring visibility, clarity, and fun to Ghost Light Wellness while making the booking process as easy as possible.
